Your water filter works quietly every day to improve the quality of your drinking water. Regular servicing and cartridge replacement help maintain that performance.

As water passes through the system, sediment cartridges trap particles such as dirt, sand and rust. Carbon cartridges capture certain dissolved chemicals, including chlorine, by holding them on the surface of the filtration material.

Over time, these particles accumulate and the carbon’s capacity to capture chemicals becomes depleted. This can reduce filtration effectiveness and restrict water flow—even when the water still looks clear.

Most standard filter cartridges require replacement every 6–12 months, depending on the cartridge type, water quality, usage and manufacturer’s recommendations. Replacing them at the recommended interval renews the filtration capacity your system relies on.

Professional servicing also provides an opportunity to clean the housings and check the system, helping keep it in reliable working condition.
